Target New Zealand!

nz_flag.gifIt certainly is an interesting time to be planning a wedding. We watch the news daily and the news is not good. Gas is up, travel is down and around the world is tightening its belt. Not the best time to be looking at going over seas for a honeymoon. Or is it?

Right from the get-go Amanda and I decided that we wanted to go somewhere neither of us had been and since I have done Europe that got us to thinking about the world down under! Australia? New Zealand? Not an easy decision to be sure. And after much talking we have decided on New Zealand! Yay! I am very excited since that's where the "Lord of the Rings" trilogy was filmed and the new Hobbit Movies will be there also.So now we are watching the travel packages every week. It has already dropped $1000.00 since we started now to just time it right so we can get the best price.

Our Engagement photos

A few weeks ago Amanda and I went to Toledo to meet with our wedding photographer Sarah J. We had picked Sarah because her style was more natural and fun and it did not seem like she took the normal everyday type of photos that we wanted to avoid. One of the perks was that she would do our engagement photos as well. So we met in the downtown area as planned excepts that where there is usually abandoned buildings we found "A walk for a cure" 10k walk and run. Yep, about a thousand people dressed in pink and all sporting pink ribbons.

But we definitely made it work! Sarah J. was wonderful to work with and I could not wait to see our photos (Check the gallery page for some choice pics) So aout a week or two later she had them up for us to see. As a matter of fact she was cool enough to provide the pictures you see on this site. And her work brings a nice finish to the site (A million thank you's! Sarah)

So if you are doing your wedding in Ohio and need a great and fun person to make your wedding and engagement photos something you will always love... Check out Sarah J. at www.sarahjphoto.net
